What is Campus-411?
Campus-411 is the first of its kind mobile service in Canada. Campus-411 does two things:
Firstly, Campus-411 gives students text messages and alert notifications whenever something “happens” on campus that they would care about. Old alerting methods such as notes on doors and email simply don’t work. They are either seen when a student is now standing at the cancelled class or when they return back home to find the email cancellation sitting in their inbox. In either case a quick text message could have saved the student time and effort. Campus-411 is perfect for:
- class cancellations
- club and sport team announcements
- campus security alerts
- university notifications
Secondly, the Campus-411 program delivers digital coupons right to the students mobile phone. For the first time ever Canadian students can opt-in to receive mobile coupons from local and national merchants. To redeem the coupon students simply show their mobile phone.
