- Is this service free? Yes this service is always free. People are able to receive messages without any additional Campus-411 charges to their plan.
- Will my phone number be given out or used in any marketing schemes? No. While we work with campus groups, administration, and merchants, your phone number is never given out to any third party.
- What's this about digital coupons? Students may sign up under different categories for digital coupons. Categories such as food, entertainment, bars, travel, etc...
- Will students get "spammed"? No! The coupons are completely "opt-in", that means the students get to pick which categories they want or don't want. The students may change their options every week or even every day if they wish.
- If I don't wish to receive digital coupons can I still get the free Campus-411 service? Yes.the service is always free no matter what.
- Can I use the system to message others? Not unless you are the group leader (i.e. you have created a group and others have joined it.
- Can I sign-up over the phone, and what does that give me? Yes, you can sign up over the phone. This automatically puts you into the general campus group to receive alerts from campus admin and campus police. Signing up over the phone also instantly enters you to win the iPOD
- How do I find a group? Someone can sign up for a group using their phone if they know the group ID. If they don't know the group ID they can search using key words on the website.
- Why do I have to use the web to sign up? Signing up over the web and completing a profile is necessary to login to any groups that you have to do a search on, or any groups that you don't know the group ID for. Completing a profile is also necessary to receive digital coupons and offers. Completing the profile also enters someone for the grand prize of a trip for 4 to Cancun.
